My interest and studies in massage therapy and holistic health care began in 1992 during the time that I worked as a Forest Service firefighter in Arizona and New Mexico. I began to receive massages for my own self-care maintenance. Later, I worked with the National Park Service, maintaining hiking trails and constructing new trails. I continued to receive body care through massage and other modalities, learning techniques I adopted for my self-care practices. But in 2003, I received a soft tissue back injury, referred to as a muscle imbalance. I decided it was time to leave the Park Service, focus on my own healing, and it was then I decided 'now' is the time to enroll in massage school as I heal from the injury. 

 

       In July of 2005, I graduated from Hands on Approach School of Massage. I worked as a massage therapist at Four Palm Spa and the Athletic Club of Corpus Christi. I started my own business in 2007 and began my private practice from the office of Gail Blanpied, LPC, until 2015. In 2011, I moved to Aransas Pass. I worked as a massage therapist with Aloha Wellness Chiropractic office in Ingelside, seeing patients of Dr. Seymour, and I scheduled my private clients at Main Street Yoga Studio in Rockport. In 2017, Hurricane Harvey created much havoc on our communities and damaged the studio I worked from in Rockport; thus, I continued to offer outcalls to clients in the surrounding area, including Rockport/Fulton, Lamar, Ingelside, Port Aransas, Portland, and Aransas Pass, and have been providing my services in the comfort of my clients' homes or vacation rentals.
